Tavan Pechet, the President of Pechet Advisors, is an expert generalist with the right experience, knowledge, passion, and candor to lead select families, and their teams, in the discovery, analysis, planning, decision-making, and management of complex family wealth matters.

He has advised clients from entrepreneurs to inheritors to widows, controlling assets from $20 million to over $5 billion.

Professional Experience
Previously, Tavan spent nearly a decade as the CEO of an elite "family office," for a multi-generational family—building and overseeing sophisticated investment, tax, legal, governance, education and philanthropy operations while managing trusted advisors and unifying objectives and strategies. He also served as an executive of that family's operating business and as Managing Trustee of their family trusts.

Tavan formerly worked as an executive for a venture-backed technology company (Luxcore Networks), practiced law in California (Brobeck Phleger & Harrison) and Massachusetts (Choate Hall & Stewart), and clerked for a federal judge in New Jersey.
Tavan earned his AB from Harvard College, his JD from Harvard Law School, and his MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Organizational Involvement
Tavan is a Partner in LA Social Venture Partners, a charity building better philanthropists and better nonprofits, where he sits on the Strategic Planning Committee and chairs the Governance Team.
"Tavan has the ability to balance family values and relationships with finance thereby CREATING TRUE WEALTH MANAGEMENT, not just financial success."
